Hudson Hives is a family-owned honey company, retail store, and educational destination located in Hudson, Massachusetts.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Stephen and Jennifer Burney, Hudson Hives began with a passion for beekeeping and a desire to connect people with the fascinating world of honey bees. What started with a few hives has grown into a thriving business offering locally produced honey, hive-inspired products, educational experiences, and community outreach.

Today, visitors can shop our honey and gifts, learn about pollinators, attend bee tours and tastings, and discover the important role honey bees play in our food system and environment.

Honey bees are remarkable pollinators responsible for helping produce many of the fruits, vegetables, nuts, and flowers we enjoy every day.

At Hudson Hives, our colonies forage on a diverse range of flowering trees, wildflowers, gardens, and agricultural crops throughout the region. As bees collect nectar and pollen, they help support local ecosystems while producing the honey we harvest and share with our community.

Our beekeeping practices focus on colony health, responsible hive management, and pollinator education. Through our bee tours, events, and outreach programs, we hope to inspire a greater appreciation for honey bees and the important role they play in our world.

Swarm Removal

Hudson Hives may be able to assist with honey bee swarms located on accessible tree branches, shrubs, fences, or other exposed locations.

Please note:

• We do not remove bees from inside walls, roofs, chimneys, siding, or other structures.
• We do not remove wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, or bumble bees.
• We cannot guarantee swarm removal availability.

If requesting assistance, please email a photo and location details so we can determine whether the insects are honey bees and whether removal is possible.
